The question: "Would you like to try BDSM with me?"

Elizabeth Kemp never thought she'd ask friend and colleague, Preston Lancaster to be her submissive. Even more surprising, he agrees – on one condition: she has to return the favor. Her two weeks as his Domme ends with a dramatic climax she wasn't prepared for – she's hopelessly in love and terrified he'll break her heart.

Dr. Preston Lancaster has been in love with Elizabeth since the day they met. His two weeks with her are more than he ever imagined, but when the tables are turned, she refuses to make good on her promise to reciprocate. Preston isn't giving up without a fight, but he's not fighting for two weeks of dominance anymore. He's fighting for forever.

Can Preston convince Elizabeth that her heart is safe with him – or will two weeks be all he has?

First Thought:  Short, sexy, emotional ride.

The Writing:  Siren Allen wrote a very entertaining romance within about 100 pages. She managed to put all the hmph into those pages what you would get out of a novel twice that length. She made me feel every emotion her characters was feeling. When they cried, I cried. When they laughed, I laughed. When they were lustful, I was lustful.

The Characters:  Elizabeth is woman that is still dealing with an abusive past. Not only did her ex-boyfriend beat her but she was abused by her father, both emotionally and physically (no worries, there was no rape or incense in this book!) She has another problem. She’s in love with her best friend and comes up with an idea to get him out of her system.

Preston is the best friend that Elizabeth is in love with. Both are doctors and he has been in love with her since the day they meet during their residency. Preston also has some secrets in his pass.

What I Liked:  Like I said, the writing was great. Allen made me care about both Elizabeth and Preston. I wanted them to have their HEA. I felt very emotionally tied to their romance. Yours, For Now was more than just a quick sexy read. The characters had a real connection. They are two best friends that are secretly in love with each other and they have a sexy time figure that out. But it wasn’t all sexy and hearts. They had a hard road emotionally to get to their HEA and it still wasn’t a picture prefect ending but there was hope for their future.

What Could Have Been Better:  They story with Preston’s past could have been a little more longer instead of it being rushed at the end. But that’s really the only thing I thought needed work. Maybe if there was a few more chapters to let it evolve at a more natural pace would added a more believable angel.

Final Thought: All in all I really enjoyed Yours, For Now and will try another one of Siren Allen books a try.

Content Note: This book is labeled as BDSM but it’s on the light side. There’s no real bondage going on just  some blindfolding and voical control in the bedroom.

I coexist with my husband of 15 years, our 11-year-old son and two chilled cats in the Deep South.

After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.

While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
