It's Christmas in Half-Moon Hollow and newly turned vampire Iris Scanlon-Calix wants to make Gigi's first visit home from college as normal and special as possible. It's taken months for Iris to work up the nerve to spend time around her baby sister after her vampire transition, so she enlists help from Jane Jameson and Company to keep her blood-thirst under control and assure Gigi's safety.
Gigi, on the other hand, has problems of her own, including the demise of her relationship with high school sweetheart, Ben, and a looming job interview with Ophelia Lambert, the scariest potential employer in the Hollow. And then there's the small matter of the handsome, frustrating vampire who keeps appearing in Gigi's peripheral vision, then disappearing before she can talk to him.Can the Scanlon sisters negotiate romantic problems, vampire politics, and Christmas cookie disasters and enjoy a relatively normal holiday?
Harper brings us back to Half Moon Hollow for a quick and fun listen to get any vampire lover into the mood for Christmas. What’s better than a Molly Harper book? A Molly Harper book on audio narrated by Amanda Ronconi. And to put the cherry on top, it’s FREE (unlimited time?) at Audible.com.
Gigi is coming home from college to enjoy Christmas with her extend family full of vampires. She doesn’t know how she’s going to tell her sister Iris that she plans on taking a job with the Vampire Council and she has no idea what to say to her high school boyfriend to let him down about waiting to end their relationship.
Gigi is not the only one that has a lot on her mind but Iris is a newly turned vampire that is afraid she will want to attack Gigi when she comes home.
All this family drama and throw in Jane and her wacky gang of vampires and I’m Dreaming of an Undead Christmas is a fun and festive listen.
Harper teased us with a mystery man that’s stalking Gigi and I hope we get more of GiGi and her mystery man in their own full length story.
After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.
While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
