Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon’s moved to New York City and is looking for excitement and passion without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night’s fun. But the manner—and speed—with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup and into her Beautiful Stranger.

The whole city knows that Max Stella loves women, not that he’s ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad boy charm, it’s not until Sara—and the wild photos she lets him take of her—that he starts wondering if there’s someone for him outside of the bedroom.

Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

I’m hooked on the Beautiful Bastard series! HOOKED I say! While Beautiful Stranger has a familiar feel to it, it really does have a life of its own. Max and Sara are a great couple.

Beautiful Stranger starts with Max and Sara meeting one night in a club and have a naughty encounter in a dark corner. Sara has never had a one night stand, much less one in public. Max has never invented a woman into his life or his bed. He prefers to keep them at arm’s length and shag them in a car, against a wall, but never in a bed. Until Sara, he can’t stop thinking about her and he finds himself wanting more from her.

Sara is freshly out of a long time relationship and she just wants to have fun, with Max. But she finds it harder and harder to keep what’s happening between them casual.

I love how these two characters bring out the best in the other. Oh and the hot, hot public sex scenes is great too. Beautiful Stranger is full of emotions and steamy shagging.

The narration for the series continues to be outstanding. Grace Grant continues to voice the female characters with a flair. Jonathan Cole is a new narrator for me and his voice for Max is spot on and damn sexy. I look forward to continuing the series on audio.

When Max, Henry, and Will steal Bennett away for a weekend of shenanigans and strippers in Vegas, the first stop of the night doesn’t go at all as planned. With their scheme for a "Guys' Weekend" completely derailed anyway, Max and Bennett begin to play a wild game of stealth and secrecy in order to have their bombshells all over Sin City.

This was a fun short about a guys’ weekend in Vegas. But the guys aren’t alone. The gals show up and things get HOT fast.

Beautiful Bombshell is a quick, fun and sexy listen. I was glad I took the time to listen.

Still enjoying Jonathan Cole as Max. I’m already a fan of Sebastian York but his British accent was lacking.

I coexist with my husband of 15 years, our 11-year-old son and two chilled cats in the Deep South.

After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.

While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).

I didn’t really like Beautiful Bastard, but Parajunkee convinced me to read Beautiful Stranger for a joint review (she liked BB) and I loved Stranger! The audio version is so… *swoons* I think I’m a little behind in the series though; I need to catch up!

Have you read their other series, Wild Seasons? I love it!
