How did Andrea and Dick Cheney fall in love? Join Half-Moon Hollow’s favorite couple for a trip down memory lane—to a time when Mr. Wainwright was newly dead, Jane Jameson was a newbie vampire, and a budding paranormal romance was not yet uncorked…

Half-Moon Hollow’s supernatural social event of the season—Zeb’s Titanic-themed werewolf wedding—is coming up, and Dick Cheney (not that Dick Cheney!) needs a date. But Andrea’s had enough of clever, handsome, and rakish to last a lifetime, and Dick Cheney is certainly not the sort of man you bring home to mom (not that Andrea’s deadist parents are speaking to her ever since she dropped out of college and became a blood surrogate.) Shameless, relentless, roguish, with a Stetson-worthy swagger, a naughty sparkle in his eyes, and a constant smirk—oh, and fangs—no, Dick is the last person (er…vampire) Andrea wants to date.

But the infuriatingly irresistible man who lives quietly on the edge of a criminal underworld knows exactly what he wants, and once he surprises Andrea with a thrilling hot and dirty kiss behind the paranormal bookshop, she knows what she wants too: Dick. All it takes to ignite their unconventional courtship is a near-undeath experience that confronts Dick with a choice between turning Andrea, losing her forever, or tapping into his countless shady resources).

I’m a big fan of Dick  . . . Dick Cheney . . . the vampire Dick Cheney.

Fangs for the Memories is an over due novella about Dick and Andrea while it’s labeled as being part of the Half-Moon Hollow series it should have come a couple of years ago in the Jane Jameson series. But since we get cameos from Jane and the gang in the Half-Moon Hollow series I guess it’s ok.

If you’ve not read Harper’s Jane Jameson series you might not get as much enjoyment out of Fangs for the Memories because it goes back a couple of years and shows us how Dick and Andrea become a couple.

Spoiler title

Fans know that Dick Cheney is a shading character that can charm the panties off of most women he meets. And he had to work hard to charm Andrea. But who knew that Dick could be sweet and swoony! We get to see that side and if Harper had written his story a couple of years ago I would be very upset that the novella wasn’t a full length novel. I think that Dick and Andrea could have carried a full novel. But after all this time it was full to have a look back at the couple’s earlier days.

If you’re a fan of Dick, you won’t want to miss out on the sweet, swoony and sexy side of Dick in Fangs for the Memories.

I coexist with my husband of 15 years, our 11-year-old son and two chilled cats in the Deep South.

After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.

While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
