In this novella, Will Sumner and Hanna Bergstrom (from Beautiful Player) find that a wedding and everlasting love were just the beginning.
One Player tamed. One nerd girl satisfied. And one more major life decision to make. When Will fell for Hanna, her quirky sense of humor and fierce dedication to her career were part of the attraction. (Not to mention her coy newbie attitude toward sex and her willingness to let him teach her everything.) But when the job offers start rolling in for her—and oh, they do—Hanna has trouble deciding what she wants, where they should live, and how much she should burden Will with the decision. Magic between the sheets is only one part of a relationship...getting on the same page is quite another altogether.
It’s always a pleasure getting back into the world and characters of the Beautiful Bastard series by Christina Lauren. I know I’m going to laugh and swoon. Beautiful Boss let us get back to Will and Hanna to see what they were up to after their HEA in Beautiful Player. They’re all grown up as a couple, well they are on their way. Marriage, big job offers and smoking wedding night sex.
Beautiful Boss was like an extend epilogue to Will and Hanna’s story and I loved every minute of it. I also enjoyed getting a pick at the other couples in the series.
I’m a big fan of Grace Grant and Sebastian York’s work on the Beautiful Bastard series. They both bring out the emotions in the writing and characters. They have funny and smart ass down! And York’s sexy time voice is just toe curling. They did another bang up job bring Will and Hanna’s story to life.
After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.
While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
