Heavyweight fighter Denver Lewis plays real nice, but he doesn't share. That's why he's been avoiding top-notch flirt Cherry Peyton. But a man can only resist those lush curves for so long. Their encounter surpasses all his fantasies, bringing out protective urges that Cherry's about to need more than she knows…
Denver's combination of pure muscle and unexpected tenderness has been driving Cherry wild. Yet no sooner does she get what she's been craving than old troubles show up on her doorstep. And this time, Cherry can't hide behind a carefree facade. Because the man by her side is one who'll fight like hell to keep her safe…if only she'll trust him enough to let him…
read it, track it is a way for me to track books for my reading challenges and they will be super short.
Denver and Cherry have been dancing around each other for the last few months. There was an instant attraction when they met. Cherry has tried to get Denver’s attention and since he avoided her she thinks he had no interest in her. But one night they finally gave in to each other. Denver and Cherry have hot times between the sheets while trying to get closer to each other and figure out how to battle issues and people from their passes.
While reading Holding Strong, I cared more about the future couples than the main couple. But it was still an enjoyable read. If you’re looking for a hot romance with some suspense and danger added then you should give Lori Foster’s Holding Strong a try.
After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.
While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
