Annie Prudhomme never expected to be back in Marietta, MT and her family is fond of reminding her that she left them and the town behind in search of better things. A humiliating divorce that cost her everything she’d gained has driven her back home and her family isn’t about to welcome her back into the fold. She’s in town to rebuild the old home that she inherited and to move on once again.
Carson Scott never forgot Annie or the way she left. Now that she’s back in town he’s realizing that the old flame still burns hot but he can’t risk his heart the way he did last time now that he has his son to think about it. Being trapped together during a December snowstorm gives them a chance to rekindle their romance but is Annie back for good or is she just looking for a cowboy for Christmas?
The purpose of Thrifty Thursday is to read a book which was free (at some point).

This is a nice enough novella with a TINY bit of holiday theme. It is fluffy as expected. I’m tired of the wealthy guy, broke gal story. I’m not sure if it is that, or the novella length, but the characters were not very real to me. Everything was okay while reading, but looking back nothing interesting happened overall. Stereotypes which sometime lend comfort, just felt boring here.
A Cowboy for Christmas was a light, quick read. There was too little to make it memorable
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters. The other thing I enjoy is humor.I'll be doing a feature monthly called Thrifty Thursday, which reviews books (ebooks)that have been available for free.
