The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

NARRATOR INTERVIEW

First, congrats to Andi for winning 2017 Audie award for her narration on Dirty in the Romance category.

Dirty is my first Kylie Scott novel and it was a good experience. I have her Flesh series on audio so that will most likely be my next listen. After listening to Dirty I’ll have to check out Scott’s Stage Dive series.

Dirty was a fun listen while doing yard work, too bad I wasn’t laying by a pool instead of mowing. Any story that starts off where the heroine is a run away bridge after finding out the groom to be is gay and the bride is the last to know is going have some drama. But when side bride finds herself hiding in the neighbor’s shower only to come face to face with the hot neighbor’s junk in her face when he turns on the water to the shower the story gets even more interesting.

The romance is fast, fun and hot. Andi Arndt puts her stamp on the story with her narration. She is a perfect match for these characters. Andi is the reason I gave Kylie Scott a try. That’s how a great narrator is important to books.

About Andi Arndt

Andi’s relatively neutral US English accent is a product of a Minnesota childhood, New Jersey high school years, and Maryland/DC/Virginia adulthood. Firm grounding in both theatre and broadcasting led to full-time work in voice over.

I coexist with my husband of 15 years, our 11-year-old son and two chilled cats in the Deep South.

After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.

While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).

I have both her series on my list. It does sound like it brings the drama, but also the humor, too. I like Andie’s narration already so might have to go with audio on this one.
