December 31, 2017 The Book Nympho will be closing up shop. I have thought about this for over a year (almost closed down in December 2016). While I have loved blogging over the years, it’s time to move on. I miss being just a reader. By ‘just a reader’ I mean someone who reads for enjoyment without the pressure to review and promo books. I will still be around on social media (Twitter & Instagram). I will also still share my thoughts on the books I read on Goodreads but on a smaller scale.
We have enjoyed blogging and would like to say thanks to all our followers. Without you guys we would be “talking” to ourselves. Also a big thanks to all the authors, narrators and publishers we have worked with over the years. You guys make the books happen so we can read (or listen) and enjoy them.
Last but not least I want to thank Jonetta, Anne and Amanda. I started the blog in March of 2011 and you guys have been great additions and I’ve loved getting to know you guys over the years.
After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.
While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
