After some thoughtful consideration (like two years), I’ve decided to transition back to a regular reader. With 6 years of book blogging under my belt, it’s time to move on. I found a whole new world and friends in the book blogging world. You ladies (and gentlemen) are the shit!
I will continue to read and review on Goodreads. I will also remain active on Twitter (probably more so now that I will have more time). The Facebook page will still be around for a while too. I follow tons of authors and other bloggers on Facebook so I like to share their posts and news. Lately I’m more active on Instagram (because a picture is faster than a blog post).
Don’t be surprised if you get more comments on your blog posts from me. I’ll have to stay connected as a commenter.
It’s been a pleasure being here to talk about books in past 6 years. Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the book blogging world. BIG THANK YOU to my co-blogger Jonetta and reviewers Anne and Amanda. You ladies have been fun to work with and I will keep in touch online and through email.
Goodbye is not the end.
“Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow.”
― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
“You get use to someone—start to like them, even—and they leave. In the end, everyone leaves.”
― Rachel Ward, Numbers
“No more words. We know them all, all the words that should not be said. But you have made my world more perfect.”
― Terry Pratchett, Nation
“You’re leaving me, Rainbow Girl.”
― Karen Marie Moning,
Five years ago, I answered a request from Jennifer for a full time reviewer and everything changed. I’m thankful for the opportunity she gave me and her unending generosity in sharing this wonderful space. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better partner and I’ll be forever grateful. And, thanks to all of her faithful friends and followers for accepting me here. — Jonetta
After 17 years I've finally finished my BA in English (no I do not want to be a teacher). Before majoring in English I would not have touched anything labeled "classic", but I have enjoyed a few along the way in my college career.
While I hated to read growing up, I am now an avid book reader and audiobook listener. I love rejecting reality one book at a time. I only read fiction within my favorite (at least to date) genres which include: most romance (paranormal, contemporary, D/s, BDSM, M/M)Urban Fantasy, and a few YA (mostly PNR or UF from favorite adult authors, but I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone after enjoying a few contemporary YA novels in adolescent literature class I took).
