Q & A with Yolanda Sfetsos, author of the Sierra Fox series

Welcome back to The Book Nympho, Yolanda! Before we start discussing Sierra Fox series, tell us a little about you. Thank you for having me back, it’s great to be here. Well, I’m an author from Sydney, Australia. I’ve been writing since I was in my early teens. I’ve always got several ideas whispering inside my mind and if I don’t at least take notes, I get a little twitchy. I write in a variety of genres, but always keep coming back to urban fantasy. I’m also a bibliophile, and love hanging out with my husband, daughter and kitty. Oh, and I like to collect things—books, stationery, VW Kombi models, Funko POP! figures…   What can you tell us about Sierra Fox series? Sierra […]

Anton Strout Stops by to Talk The Spellmason Chronicles

Welcome to The Book Nympho, Anton! Before we start discussing The Spellmason Chronicles, tell us a little about you. I’m an Aquarius.  I love long walks on the beach, and heavy pett—I’ve said too much.   Let’s see.  I’m an author with Ace Books, and I have a day job in publishing with Penguin Random House, which I swear is not as nepotistic as it sounds!  Joss Whedon is my master, and if we ever meet I don’t think I will be at all intelligible.  Some would argue that I have already achieved this state.  Some people are mean! I’m a voracious pop culture nerd, consuming all manner of shows, movies, comics, games and oh yeah, books! My first series followed the adventures of psychometrist […]

Meet Holly Bush & Giveaway

Meet Holly Bush & Giveaway

Posted September 25, 2014 by Jonetta in Author Interview | 15 Comments

We welcome Holly Bush back to The Book Nympho, this time to talk about a whole new writing direction. Jonetta: You’ve stated that you grew up surrounded by books. How did this define you as a writer? Have you ever wanted to pursue any other career? Holly: My father was a very quiet, studious man who read quite a bit, and wanted his three daughters to enjoy his same love of books. After dinner and homework at the Rutter house, we read. We watched an occasional TV show, but most evenings we were reading and he didn’t care whether it was an Archie Comic Book or a Nancy Drew or Moby Dick. I got hooked as a teenager on the John Jakes historical series that […]

Lori Foster Stops by to Talk about her Ultimate series

Can you tell us a little bit about your latest release, NO LIMITS? This is Cannon’s story, a character that readers met in my last series, Love Undercover. From the second Cannon showed up on the page, I knew he’d get his own story. He’s that kind of guy, the guy who steps up and takes notice and gets a lot of notice in return. In NO LIMITS, Cannon reunites with Yvette, another character from the previous series. They parted under strained circumstances, with Cannon just heading into professional MMA and Yvette young and traumatized from a horrific threat. Cannon saved her then, but he was noble because of her age and what she’d been through. Now she’s older, more independent, and he’s ready to […]

Welcome back to The Book Nympho. I say welcome back because you’ve been here through two blogging events, Stomp vs Romp in 2012 and Mistletoe Madness last year but this is your first interview. I’ll try to keep the questions as conformable as possible. No awkward questions about salads… (via Twitter). (Molly silently shakes her head in agreement.)     Anyway, my readers know that I’m a huge fan of your books, especially on audio. So let’s start with an audio question. Amanda Ronconi narrates all of your books (and she is fantastic!), whether it’s in your Jane Jameson series, Naked Werewolf series or any of your contemporary books like the Bluegrass series. Do you as the author have a say in who narrates your books or is that strictly […]

Come Meet Cardeno C.! Plus a Giveaway…

Welcome Cardeno C. to The Book Nympho! CC is the talented romance author of several series, including Home, Mates and Family. Today, the first book in the new Hope series is being released. Jonetta: Before we go further, what’s in a name…why did you decide to use an initial for your last name? Has it presented any unique challenges? CC: I probably should have put more thought into my name, but it was pretty spontaneous. It’s a combination of something from my childhood, something I generally like, and [these two were really the key factors:] something with an available website and gmail address. So there you have the dirty secret to my pen name: availability. And as far as the letter for the last name, […]

The Book Nympho readers have seen us gush about your Contemporary Romance series about the Kowalski Family so can you tell us a little about your Romantic Suspense series, the Devlin Group. The quick blurb I use on my website is: This action-adventure romance series follows the men and women of the Devlin Group, a privately owned rogue agency unhindered by red tape and jurisdiction. Whether doing a private job or a secret mission for the government, these contract agents don’t hesitate to put their lives on the line…especially when it comes to love. The first book in the series, 72 Hours, came out in June of 2006, followed by On The Edge in 2007 and No Surrender in 2009. Then 2010 through 2014 […]

Introducing Adrienne Giordano!

Posted July 29, 2014 by Jonetta in Author Interview, Hot & Deadly | 2 Comments

We got a sneak peek at Adrienne Giordano this weekend during the Cheating Justice tour. She’s here today to tell us more about herself and her other romantic suspense books, including the Private Protectors series.    Jonetta: I understand you’re a Jersey girl now living in the Midwest. How tough was that transition? Adrienne: It was difficult, but I was single and in my twenties so I didn’t have a husband or children to relocate with me. I come from a very close family though and leaving them was extremely hard. What do you miss the most about your home state/east coast? I miss seeing my family on a day-to-day basis. There’s something special about having cousins who live next door and around the […]
