Step into the Honey Club, where every sensual boundary will be tested in search of the ultimate pleasure....

Branch doesn't exist. Living off the grid, he's looking for a way to forget his past and the guilt that plagues him. But no woman has ever been able to bring him to the edge he craves.

After a traumatic experience of her own, Evangeline stepped away from the decadent world of the Honey Club. But when she gets Branch's offer - to play without boundaries or commitments - it's too tempting for her to refuse.

As their passion ignites, Evangeline and Branch push each other to their farthest limit, fulfilling their darkest desires while falling harder and deeper than they ever imagined.

read it, track reviews are a way  to track books for my reading challenges and they will be super short

After finally popping my Kristen Ashley cherry with The Deep End, I couldn’t wait to listen to more in Honey series. Lizbeth Gwynn brought all the sexy and emotions with her narration of The Farthest Edge. Great author/narrator pairing!

Things you need to know about this listen:

  • Hot as fuck!
  • You’ll need batteries, batteries, batteries or someone to help you get sweaty
  • 30% story, 70% jacking, milking, sucking and any other ways of getting a hot alpha sub off in a playroom or bedroom. (Not that I minded at all!)
  • Smoking narration to bring melt your ear buds
  • You’ll wish you were part of a ménage with Branch and Evangeline or at the very least with your face to the window of the playroom.
  • Did I say hot as fuck?!

I have now added ALL Kristen Ashley backlist to my TBR. I’m not sure which series I’ll read/listen to next. I’m thinking either Rock Chic or Colorado Mountain Series. If you have read her please place your vote for your favorite series in the comments.

About Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn’t taken her first breath!).

Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.

Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.

And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

After so many others recommending her to me I finally pop my Kristen Ashley cherry with The Deep End. I’ve been on a D/s reading kick lately so The Deep End worked into my reading schedule at a perfect time. This is the 2nd title I’ve read where the heroine is the Domme and the hero is the submissive and I find it funny that the first title I read was Natural Law by Joey W. Hill was referenced in this novel. It’s the book Amèlie’s book club of Doms is reading. I’ve seen where Ashley fans aren’t jumping for joy that she wrote in this genre but I have to say she wrote it well and I welcome more of it on my […]

Lexie Berry is told by a low-life named Shift to pick up Ty Walker from a California prison. He will deliver the next set of instructions once she arrives. Yeah, there’s a reason this guy’s called Shift as Ty’s next agenda item is a doozy.   I won’t rehash what happens next (you should have the pleasure of discovering that yourself) or their histories but trust they both have interesting ones. While their first meeting was bizarre, it was also kismet. What comes next is a funny, sometimes poignant and always interesting journey for the two of them. Both get something out of the deal they forge that will help them carve out a new path but they never counted on sticking or […]

Lauren Grahame left her old life after her marriage to a cheating husband failed along with her friends and lifestyle. After traveling aimlessly for months, she happens upon Carnal, Colorado and ends up as a waitress at a biker bar called Bubba’s. Yeah, just hang in there for a minute.   I don’t know how this writer does it but she creates the most improbable situations and somehow makes them sensible. And, she designs alpha males I’d typically loathe and develops them into appealing characters. Tate Jackson is bossy, often rude and can say some pretty hurtful things but then will turn around and do the right thing moments later.   Lauren, though vulnerable after having taken a big hit to her self […]

Nina Sheridan, an American expatriate living in London, decides to take a “time out” from her clueless fiancé and secures a house in Gnaw Bone, Colorado. She arrives in a snowstorm and is greeted by the owner, Holden “Max” Maxwell, who says there’s been a scheduling mixup and she can’t stay there. It goes downhill from there.   There was something hypnotic about this story that I can’t even define. While the level of detail sometimes jarred me, I don’t believe I’d change a thing. The story wanders with precise intention as Nina and Max are forced into a truce of sorts that eventually develops into something much more. I liked her a lot and he was a bit too alpha for […]

Review: Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley

Review: Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley

Posted March 13, 2014 by Jonetta in Book Review | 10 Comments

Ever read one of those stories where what comes next is almost predictable but the details keep it fresh? Well, that’s this book in a nutshell. When Rock Chick Indy Savage finds herself in over her head with some seriously bad dudes, she lands on the doorstep of her best friend’s brother, a seriously badass who she’s been in love with since she was five years old. Lee Nightingale is scary himself and no one is really clear what side of the law his business falls on. He’s prepared to handle things but Indy is pretty loyal to her friends and, well, she’s a Rock Chick. It’s not her nature to be taken care of.   This story is hilarious! Indy creates one train […]
