Beth has always lived in her outgoing sister’s shadow, plagued by her own insecurity about her body. It’s time for her to step out from the sidelines and experience what life has to offer—then she’s laid off from her teaching job, and has to rely on her sister to get her a job at Danvers International.

Nick Merimon is gorgeous, wealthy, and a well-known playboy—just the sort of man Beth has always avoided. But even she can’t deny the sparks that are flying between them. He could be just the man to show her what she’s been missing all these years. And after they share one heart-stopping night together, she is surprised when it leads to a relationship. But as their connection grows, and the realities of their romance begin to show, Beth will have to overcome both her own insecurities and her doubts about Nick’s intentions if she’s ever going to find lasting happiness…

Fall for Me is a story about Beth and Nick growing closer after being pushed together by their siblings dating (couple from the previous book, Not Planning On You). They’re relationship is built on hot sex and Beth not wanting to leave Nick into her heart because she just knows he’s going to leave her. She spends most of the book feeling she’s not good enough for Nick because he is so hot and she’s a former “fatty”.

Because of Beth’s weight issues growing up and her cold-hearted parents she has very low self-esteem that puts her in danger.

Fall for Me is a quick listen and don’t know if it was the writing but I think Allyson Ryan did a better job with Beth and Nick than she did with the previous book.

I’m looking forward to reading the next book,  Fighting for You. The couple was set up in Fall for Me and I think their story will be interesting and possibility heartbreaking. So I’m waiting until I’m in the mood for that kind of romance read. LOL

I’ve had NOT PLANNING ON YOU on my Nook for about 2 years. It got lost in my massive TBR pile. I finally decided to give it a go on audio. The Story I have to be honest, I zoned out a few times early into the story and I’m not 100% clear why Suzy, who wanted no kind of relationship with Gray, agreed to stay with him when she broke her ankle. It doesn’t make sense to me and it’s not believable. But I guess Sydney Landon had to throw these to characters together somehow so that Gray could “date” Suzy since she kept turning him down. Why did Suzy keep turning down dates with Gray? She got hurt by her last (and only) […]
