To protect her, he will unleash the beast within…

As his pack’s second-in-command, lupine shifter Liam Armstrong gives orders and takes what he wants—until he meets red-headed, blue-eyed December McIntyre. Liam knows the human beauty is his intended mate the moment he sees her, but December is far too strong-willed to accept his protection.

December, whose brother is the town sheriff, has every reason to mistrust shifters after one killed her youngest sibling. But the forceful and handsome Liam has gotten under her skin in a way she hadn’t thought possible, and the desire she feels for him is almost too much to bear.

When a radical hate group targets all humans known to sympathize with paranormal beings, December is attacked in her bookstore. Reluctantly, she turns to the only one who can help her: Liam. And he is going to take her to places within herself she never knew existed.

read it, track it is a way for me to track books for my reading challenges and the reviews will be super short.

Another enjoyable read from Katie Reus. I really like her mythology for her werewolves. Other supes vampires and fae are mentioned and I can’t wait to see how she presents them. So far the Moon Shifter series is a great balance between overarching plot line, action, and snark. Looking forward to the next installment.

Favorite Line/Quote: “You said kissing only”, she whispered. “Kissing covers a lot of things, love.” What I liked: The characters and the plot line. Katie Reus has created characters that I like and want to read more about. She also does a great job with the mystery parts of hiding who the villain was. I kept guessing who it was and never really knew for sure. I liked the changing POV between Ana and Connor. We get to see what they are both feeling. I also loved the fact that the couple was not an instant a love couple. They knew each […]
