The Weston pack waited until the last minute to prepare for Christmas. Spirits are low, and now they're in a scramble when a freak snowstorm knocks out the power. Despite bickering among packmates and the threat of rogues, the family is determined to make this a memorable Christmas.

But when an important family member goes missing, the pack is galvanized into action. Time is running out, and the temperature is dropping fast.

Winter Moon is a bonus novella that takes place after the final book in the series, One Second.

Winter Moon is a full cast holiday adventure not to be missed by Dark and Poole fans!

It’s always fun to visit the Seven series by Dannika Dark.  Add in the holidays, hold on for the fun ride dashing through the crazy that is the Weston Pack. Winter Moon allows us to revisit the couples of the series and how they spend the holidays together.

Nothing like wanting until the last minute to get Christmas gifts for the loved ones and ALL of the characters in Winter Moon are guilty of it. To be fair, shifters do not put importance on gifts and the holidays like humans do, but when Lexie wants a tree for the family the pack goes into the woods to bring one home. While Denver and Wheeler have a grand adventure picking the perfect tree in an on coming show storm the others are having a time with last minute shopping and romancing it up a bit.

Winter Moon is a fun holiday listen about the Weston Pack. Thanks to Dannika Dark for giving her fans with this novella. Nicole Poole delivers another stellar performance for this fun cast of characters.

One Second by Dannika Dark

One Second by Dannika Dark

I’m sad that One Second is the last book in the Seven series by Dannika Dark. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the last book in the series being about the first couple, Lexi, and Austin. I mean they had their story in Seven Years but One Second really is a book about the whole pack. Loose ends get tied up and we get to see most of the past characters. It was like a “where are they now” story with Lexi and Austin being featured more than the others. Dannika did a time jump between Three Hours and Two Minutes aging the pack’s children, giving them bigger roles. One Second give us another, smaller time jump from the beginning of the book to the […]

Charming by Dannika Dark

Charming by Dannika Dark

With Charming, we take a break from the Weston Pack to focus on Prince a pack master that leads a neighboring wolf pack and has been a side character for the whole series. We got a closer look at Prince in the previous book, Two Minutes. Even though Prince has been around, you could read/listen to Even though Prince has been around, you could read/listen to Charming as a stand alone but I highly recommend starting with the first book, Seven. The whole series is fantastic but if you wanted to get a taste for Dannika Dark’s writing then you would be ok with trying Charming. Series fans will love that we get a small look at a couple of the Weston Pack but new […]

Audio Review: Two Minutes by Dannika Dark

Maizy and Denny’s story has been brewing from the beginning of the Seven series. It had to build over time since Maizy was a little girl when she met Denny and he was her watch dog. But with time apart to give Maizy time to grew up into a young woman was the key to making their attraction into something sweet and sexy instead of creepy and icky. Denny is the happy-go-lucky wolf in the Westin pack. He doesn’t take life serious and always has a joke on hand. Maizy is the pack’s little princess but not in the spoiled why. She’s like a sister or daughter to many of them. She was the human girl who had the pack wrapped around her finger. But Maizy […]

Three Hours by Dannika Dark

I simply adored the author and narrator team of Dannika Dark and Nicole Poole so I love returning to the Seven Series on audio. This time around I got to listen toWheeler’s story in Three Hours. Wheeler and Naya have been fighting like cats and dogs ever since they meet a couple of years ago (yes Dannika fast forward a couple of years and I’m so excited because Mazie is getting older and I just know that she and Denver will get together by the end of the series) but I’m getting ahead of myself we are here to talk about Wheeler and Naya. There’s a good reason the two fight like cats and dogs, it because Wheeler is a grumpy wolf and Naya is […]

LOVE Ivy & Lorenzo in Four Days by Dannika Dark

LOVE Ivy & Lorenzo in Four Days by Dannika Dark

Posted March 7, 2015 by Jennifer in Book Review | 2 Comments

Dannika Dark keeps upping my love for the Seven series. Ivy and Lorenzo’s story is so touching and yet still sexy. Ivy was traded from her father’s pack to the Wetson pack. It was the best thing that could’ve happened to Ivy because her dad is a total douche canoe! Unlike her pack members in the Wetson pack, Ivy grew up in the pack life and knows all the rules. She’s an alpha female but takes a lower ranking role within the Wetson and she’s totally happy with it. Ivy has been with the Wetson pack for about a year and just when she was feeling safe someone from her old pack shows up to cause problems. Fox was her dad’s second and he […]

Jericho Surprised Me in Five Weeks by Dannika Dark

Jericho Surprised Me in Five Weeks by Dannika Dark

I’ll be honest, I was not looking forward to listening to FIVE WEEKS because Jericho didn’t leave much of an impression on me in the other books. He seemed like a pot head, ass hole rocker. But I’m glad to say that Jericho surprised me. He was a complex character with depths and feelings that were hidden under his don’t give a shit attitude. Jericho wants people to think he is the stereo type rocker that parties and sleeps with a different woman every night. Well ok, he does that but Jericho’s a clean-cut guy compared to the way he was a few years ago. While his brothers find their mates he could care less about settling down and finding a mate. After all, […]

I want a Reno of my own! Reno is the strong and silent type, that rides a motorcycle. He might be the oldest Cole brother but he doesn’t lead the pack and he has a little chip on his shoulder about it. Reno is not the guy that just takes you to dinner but he the kind that buys you groceries when you need them. He really takes care of April. April is a gal we can all love. She’s a hardcore reader of romance and urban fantasy. She’s quirky and a human in a shifter world (although she doesn’t know it… yet).  But April has her moments when she needs to be slapped because she has people after her because of her late grandmother’s gambling problems.
